Alan Bennett (right hand side) joined colleague Mark Lane and David Bray to cycle from Land’s End to the Britannia Movers Conference at Gateshead.
Alan chose to raise funds for Prostrate Cancer, feeling that there is still a high number of men who ignore the symptoms of this killer disease which, caught early enough has a high chance of being completely curable
Tired but arriving to chilly sunshine, the chaps were accompanied by other Britannia members and staff for the final ride from the iconic ‘Angel of the North’ statue just outside Gateshead.
Alan (far left) said,”It is a great feeling to finish the ride and we are at about £750 sponsorship for the Prostrate Cancer Charity. It’s good to be able to support such a good cause and working in an industry with a high percentage male workforce, it is a cause very close to our hearts.”
