Stepping out for a worthwhile cause

At Britannia Bennetts we were proud to support and take part in a Cancer Research UK walk this month.

It was a fantastic team effort with Judith Bennett, Alan Bennett, Eleanor Bennett, Greg Mifflin, Claire Badger and Phil Leah all walking nine miles to raise funds for this worthwhile cause. We were joined by some four legged friends too. Ruby, Oliver and Indi had lots of fun and were great additions to the Britannia Bennett team.

Cancer Research UK is the world’s leading cancer charity undertaking vital work to help people live longer, better lives, free from the fear of cancer.

Although survival rates from cancer have doubled over the last forty years, Cancer Research UK have an ambition to improve this further and hope to see 3 in 4 patients surviving the disease by 2034.

It was a privilege to support the Cancer Research UK walk and we were very proud to be awarded the Rose Worth Plate for raising the most money for the charity.

This year was the 25th year that Ray Worth has hosted the event which provides a fitting tribute to his late wife and allows all of us at Bennetts of Malvern to support an important cause that we feel passionately about.
